Dear Swim Families,

We hope everyone is having a great off-season. We look forward to seeing many of you at our first Fall Swim session, which kicks off this Sunday, October 19th. We are so excited to see our Sea Devils on the pool deck again!

We're also reaching out to let you know we are looking for two interested individuals to join the VOSD Board for the upcoming swim season! We are currently seeking a Treasurer and 2nd Vice President. As they say, many hands make light work, and we are excited to add new ideas and energy to the mix!

Treasurer

The Treasurer supports our swim team operations by overseeing finances, budgeting, taxes, and insurance. The Treasurer plays a vital role in keeping our organization strong and sustainable.

Experience with QuickBooks is helpful—but not required. If you're comfortable with Excel and open to learning, you're already on the right track. Best of all, our current Treasurer, Katie Prutzman, has generously offered to mentor the incoming Treasurer, so you’ll have guidance and support every step of the way. Whether you’re a seasoned finance professional or someone with a passion for numbers and community service, your skills can truly make a difference.

2nd Vice President

The 2nd VP position serves as a key liaison to the chair positions/coordinators. We are specifically looking for a board-level member to support our event and spirit coordinators. We know that summer swim is more than about ribbons. It's the comraderies and friendships that make our organization so special. If you love event planning, have expert organizational skills, and love creating lifelong memories for our Sea Devils and their families, this role is for you!
