2026 Competitive Team Practice Schedule
New for 2026! Morning practice will be offered daily for all age groups. Evening practices will only be offered two nights per week -- either Monday/Wednesday or Tuesday/Thursday, depending on your child's age. Please see below for your swimmer's practice schedule.
NOTE: All practice times are subject to change due to pool access/availability, team size, or other factors.
Evening Practices
(5/27/2026* - 7/24/2026)
Monday/Wednesday
6:45-7:30pm - Age Group 8
7:30-8:15pm - Age Group 9-10 (Group A)**
8:15-9:00pm - Age Group 11-12
Tuesday/Thursday
6:45-7:30pm - Age Group 6-7
7:30-8:15pm - Age Group 9-10 (Group B)**
8:15-9:00pm - Age Group 13-18
*New for 2026! The 5/26/2026 practice will be used for 'new swimmer' assessments only and will not be a full practice. Only those new to VOSD or last year's developmental swimmers planning to move up to the Competitive Team should plan to attend the assessment at their assigned timeslot (7-7:30pm: 10 and under / 7:30-8pm: 11+).
**The 9-10 age group is designated A/B. Swimmers will be assigned to either Mon/Wed or Tues/Thurs. Efforts will be made to assign A/B swimmers to the same night as their younger or older sibling(s). Assignments will be emailed to families before the first night of practice.
